A Complete Kitchen Makeover

Courtney and Nick Sell had made a decision to make some necessary changes to their first home. Since they both enjoyed cooking, naturally the kitchen was the first room chosen to make those changes. They wanted to have a kitchen that was warm and inviting, but did want the room to be overwhelmed with lots of dark colors. They also wanted the kitchen to be modern, but with a classic feel.

We decided to gut the room completely and start from scratch. Combinations of lighter rich colors and hues were used along with a lighter cabinet base to keep the room bright, but at the same time creating a warm feeling when the room was entered. The result was a space with plenty of room for them to share the kitchen as they prepare their favorite dishes together.
